What Far & Found is

A place where buyers find personal shoppers: someone going somewhere who brings things home, or someone already there who flies them to you. Shoppers are independent people, not our employees, and every one is looked at by hand before they can sell. Far & Found is run by IAstudio in Brunei Darussalam.

We are not a party to any sale. The shopper buys the thing, carries it and hands it over; the buyer pays the shopper. Far & Found holds no money: a deposit is paid to the shopper directly, by whatever they agree, and the app only tracks that it happened.

Your account

• You must be eighteen or over.
• One account per email. You sign in with a code we email you; keep it to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
• Give your real name: the shoppers you deal with see it, and a shopper's name is on their page.
• We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we believe is being used to deceive or harm someone.

If you buy

• Ask for what you want and say it plainly: the thing, the variant, where it is sold if you know.
• A quote tells you the price, the deposit and how to pay. Pay the shopper, not us. Send your receipt from the order; the shopper marks it paid.
• Customs duties, limits and what may be brought into your country are between you and your shopper; ask before you order anything that might be restricted.
• Rate honestly. Ratings decide who ranks first on a route and who earns Verified, and nobody can pay for either.
• If something goes wrong, talk to your shopper first, in the chat. If that fails, write to us: we can look, we can pause an account, and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do. We cannot refund money we never held.

If you sell

• Tell the truth on your page, in your line, in your quotes and in your updates.
• Buy and carry things lawfully. Duties, allowances and what you may carry are yours to know for every route you run. Nothing counterfeit, nothing your destination forbids.
• Keep a buyer's name and details to yourself: they are shown to you to do the order, not to be shared.
• Answer requests, keep the order's steps true (quoted, paid, bought, landed, ready, handed over), and give the spots back when you cancel.
• Your tips are yours; a scam alert is checked by us before it is pinned.

Plans and fees for shoppers

Your first trip is free, with no strings attached. After that, selling on Far & Found is Base at B$25 a month or Premium at B$50 a month, six months at 10% off, a year at 19% off. Until paying inside the app exists, Premium is switched on by hand and billed as we agree with you. Fees are not refunded. Premium changes your tools, never your place in results: ranking and Verified are earned from ratings and handed-over orders alone.

What you post

What you post is yours. You let Far & Found show it where the app shows it: your page, your trips, your stories to the people who may see them, your tips to shoppers. Nothing abusive, nothing unlawful, nothing that is not yours to post. We may take down what breaks this, and tell you.

What we promise, and what we cannot

We run Far & Found with care, and we fix what breaks. But it is provided as it is: we cannot promise it is never down, and we are not responsible for the goods, their quality, their delivery, customs, loss or damage, or for what a buyer or a shopper does. Where the law lets us, our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the last twelve months. Nothing here limits what the law does not let us limit.

Ending

You can close your account at any time by writing to us, and we delete it as the privacy policy says. We can close an account for breaking these terms. Orders in progress are between you and the other person to finish.

The law, and changes

These terms are under the law of Brunei Darussalam. When they change, the date at the top changes, and if the change matters we tell you by email. Questions: [email protected]. The privacy policy at https://farandfound.app/privacy is part of these terms.
